Global IT Service Desk Coordinator, Antwerp

The clients mission is to be enabled with IT solutions to reach its strategic targets and deliver profitable growth. For this they’ve established a group wide cloud based state of the art IT platform and has very ambitious plans to expand and enhance this platform further to drive their growth through multiple running projects. To help reaching our goals and ensure a stable environment, we are looking for ambitious and dynamic professionals to support our IT team during at least the coming 4 months.
Job Requirements:
Within the IT there are a couple off projects currently running such as the renewal off the entire IT, infrastructure projects (WAN/LAN/WIFI and Citrix), the optimization off the Microsoft environment (from the servers to Office 365), the optimization of the global IT service desk and other IT related projects.

To improve customer experience and stabilize the day-to-day operations we are looking for:
• 5 years of proven experience with IT service management (ITSM) and optimization
• Strong communication skills – effective and pro-active communication
• Strong analytical skills – understanding the bigger picture, trends, …
• Relationship building – able to use interpersonal style and communication skills being able to bring good and bad messages / align viewpoints and understanding
• Escalating issues to management – properly update management on the ongoing issues and get necessary support / translate IT and service issues into management language
• Driving and understanding SDM metrics - as a tool for improvements of service
• IT service management – ensure a good ‘customer’ experience of the service desk over the full SDM process, follow up on change management, …
• Coaching - Motivating and developing Service Desk staff
