Role Purpose

Lead the design, delivery, and operationalization of KPN’s new enterprise Data & AI platform as part of the multi-year Unlock Data transformation program. Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs, while supporting the migrate workstream to migrate from legacy systems to the new platform. Collaborate closely with Deloitte as the system integrator and manage offshore teams in India.

This role is in the context of taking over from a predecessor. The Unlock Data program is in full effect, with a strong need to deliver from platform perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Workstream leadership: Translate strategic objectives into deliverables, timelines, and priorities; coordinate cross-functional teams; drive platform delivery in partnership with Deloitte.
• Drive platform delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of the Data & AI platform within the Unlock Data program, ensuring all components (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) are implemented on time, secure, and scalable.
• Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, security, and Deloitte to prioritize features, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Platform architecture & design: define and implement solution designs, including cloud, on-prem, and hybrid solutions; set standards and best practices
• Stakeholder management: Act as technical lead for business and IT stakeholders; ensure security and operational compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Data & AI platform builds and migration support.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Cloudera, Informatica, Confluent, and/or Dataiku.
• Strong expertise in cloud architectures (Azure), data engineering, and AI/ML infrastructure.
• Experience working with system integrators (Deloitte or similar) on large-scale transformation programs.
• Excellent leadership, program delivery, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, solve complex problems, and navigate ambiguity
